PICTURES: Dunkerrin Parish Fete and dog show a great family day out

Dunkerrin Church of Ireland held their Parish Fete and Fun Dog Show recently which was a great success and the organisers wish to thank everyone both near and far who supported the family event.

Local playwright, Patrick Fogarty, opened the show and Judge was Ms. Mona Goode from Galway ably assisted by Ms. Lorraine Malone from Tipperary.

“To everyone who gave sponsorship, hampers, prizes on the day, it was very much appreciated.

“To Dunkerrin Community Centre Committee for the use of the hall and to those who erected tents etc and gave generosity of their time to make the day a success” the organisers said.

Congratulations to all the prize winners on the day, both dogs and owners. The Champion of the Show went to Mr. Richard Fogarty, Templetuohy, Thurles with his dog Loki who received the John Browne Perpetual Shield.

Reserve Champion was won by Ms.Tina Morrissey, Coolnamona, Cloughjordan with her dog Hero who received the Ernie & Joyce Reid Perpetual Shield.
