Huge queues of cars at Offay Applegreen stations as they slash fuel prices
Queues have formed at Applegreen chains across Offaly as customers snap up discounted deals to celebrate the forecourt chain's birthday.
The sale began around 12 noon and is expected to last until shortly after 2pm.
News of the sale broke quickly with queues of traffic forming around 12 noon.
Petrol is for sale at 153.1 cents for petrol and 146.1 cents for diesel.

Customers can also avail of reduced prices on a number of items including crisps, slushie drinks and car washes.
