This year Roscrea Daffodil Day raised an amazing €14,056 for the Irish Cancer Society. As always the People of Roscrea and the surrounding areas are so generous and giving to this fantastic cause.

"A huge thank you to all our volunteers who sit at the tables for us year after year and to all our new volunteers who came forward this year, daffodil Day would be an impossible task without all of you.

Thank you to Mrs Simon Meeney, Mary and Dick Conroy, John and Kay Browne, Terry Cosgrave and Roscrea Tidy Towns for donating their full crops of fresh daffodils for harvesting for the day.

Also thank you to Valerie Lewis for hand knitting beautiful daffodils for us to sell on the day. Thanks also to PJ Wright for recording daffodil day each year through his camera lens.

A huge thanks as always to: Bernie’s SuperValu, Dunnes Stores, Roscrea Shopping Centre and Roscrea Mart, Tesco Roscrea for allowing us to use the community room for the day.
