Offaly's Chasing Abbey add new date after selling out iconic venue in one day
Tullamore trio Chasing Abbey have added a second date at Dublin iconic Olympia Theatre after selling out their first gig in less than 24 hours.
In an update to fans this week, they said: "Second date added! Our Olympia show on April 5 (2023) is now sold out. And in just 1 day, thank you so so much to everyone who bought tickets."
"Due to demand we have added a second date for Saturday, May 4. Tickets on sale this Monday, 10am," they added.
The lads have been riding the crest of a wave in 2023 with gigs at Electric Picnic and performing on Patrick Kielty's first ever Late Late Show as host back in September.
Their hit Oh My Johnny went platinum and became an anthem for young fans. They followed that with Learning To Dance, a take on the old folk song Lanigan's Ball, and new Christmas track Must Mean It's Christmas which has already been streamed more than 100,000 times.
