ROSCREA singer and songwriter, Jack Keeshan, has topped the iTunes ireland Christmas charts with his new Christmas song which features vocals from the students of Clonlisk and Castletown National Schools.

Jack, who played at the Electric Picnic Festival during the summer and a string of concerts around the country over the last year, reached the coveted number one spot last week and said his new Christmas song has received a great response.

He also has some exciting dates only just announced for performances over the Christmas holidays and early in 2024.

"I was on an Irish tour all summer taking in as many places as I could supporting acts like Ryan Sheridan, Jemma Hayes, Mundy, Mike Pyro and Emma Langford and was delighted to play at the Electric Picnic again this year.

"I was delighted to support Kila in Dolan's on the 18th of this month and then I am back playing with Kiera Dignam on the 14th of December in Moate Theater. Tickets are still available for that and then I'll be playing again on the 27th of December in The Opium Rooms which has completely sold out to 1,000 people", Jack told the Tribune.

"2024 is going to be madness as I have tour dates with Kiera and I have been in talks with Damien Dempsey's management about dates in March and April", Jack said.

His latest Christmas single which shot to number one on the iTunes chart features the choirs fromClonlisk National School and Castletown Primary School. The single was recorded by Paul Dwyer in Music Time recording studio in Roscrea.

"This song is about knowing what is truly important at Christmas and I can't wait for everyone locally to hear it", Jack said.

'Christmas Time is Here,' as well as all of Jack's very popular back catalogue are available on all the streaming sites and are available to purchase on iTunes.
