The action kicks off again on Ireland's Fittest Family this Sunday, November 19 on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player as Davy’s Penny Taylor family from Meath, Donncha’s Stratford family from Cavan, Nina’s McNamara family from Roscommon, and Sonia’s Maher family from Offaly take on some brand-new challenges in Ireland’s Fittest Family!

The Mahers, hailing from Offaly, bring a unique blend of talents to the competition, with farmers, electricians, and county footballers and hurlers among their ranks.

The Stratfords, representing Cavan, are no strangers to challenges, as they thrive in mountain running, kayaking, and the pursuit of ‘absolute hardship’.

Meanwhile, the Penny Taylor family is all about pushing their physical limits, with a passion for CrossFit, Olympic weightlifting, show jumping, and competitive swimming.

Finally, the McNamaras are a competitive bunch with interests like boxing, marathon running, GAA, soccer…the list goes on!

These fearless families will battle it out for two coveted places in the next round of the competition at a brand-new location – The Farm.

New presenter Laura Fox is on the hunt to find the nation’s Fittest Family. She’s not the only new kid on the block, as legendary athlete Sonia O’Sullivan will be joining Nina Carberry, Davy Fitzgerald and Donncha O’Callaghan to push the families to their limits and over the finish line for the coveted title and €15,000.

This season, the coaches are more competitive than ever and ready to train the fittest families in the country as they tackle some gruelling physical challenges. Fresh from last year's victory, Davy Fitzgerald is determined to make it two in a row this year. The other three coaches are aiming to prevent him from claiming another win, with newcomer Sonia O'Sullivan eager to leverage her Olympic credentials for a debut victory.

Ireland's Fittest Family, Season 11 is a rollercoaster of excitement, determination, and unparalleled physical challenges that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Don't miss a moment of this thrilling season as families fight for glory and the coveted title of Ireland's Fittest Family on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, Sunday November 19th at 6:30pm.
