Merrion Press has given a sneak peak at their latest Old Ireland in Colour book with a photograph taken in Offaly 160 years ago.
In a tweet, they shared the picture of a woman called Jane Burton, known as Miss Jinney, taken in Shinrone all the way back in 1863.
The photograph taken by William Cripps Ledger has been colourised by Ireland In Colour and will feature in the third Old Ireland In Colour book.
