ALL roads led to Ballingarry recently where the best of local produce was available as part of a new community venture.

Despite the July rain Ballingarry Community Initiative held a very successful Summer Market last Sunday week in the the beautiful surroundings of Ballingarry Picnic Area.

There was a great selection of crafts, home baking, gifts, vegetables and plants and hot refreshments available on the day.

The locals and those from further afield were happy to put on the rain jackets and come out to what has now become a firm favourite venue on the Summer calendar and growing into something special to look forwards to every year.

Terryglass Honey made by Sean Gleeson was available and pictured (below) are Sean Gleeson, Jean Torpey and Carmel Forde and the award winning Honey made by Michael O'Meara, who is pictured (above) with Karen Sugrue. Photos: PJ Wright
