Members of Rathcabbin Community Development and Tidy Towns got their Spring Clean off to a flying start on Saturday last.
RATHCABBIN Rural Development and Tidy Towns extend thanks to those that supported them with some quality physical work on Saturday afternoon.
The weather gifted them an afternoon where they got a solid start to 2023 village clean-up efforts. They would like to thank everyone locally for their support. It really does take community involvement is their message and they appreciate every helping hand!
They meet on Thursday’s at 7pm. Anyone is welcome to pitch-in for an evening or two or on a more regular basis if you’d like to contribute to keeping Rathcabbin looking fresh and cared for. They have a few small projects planned for this year to ensure they keep advancing as well as tending to the basics. The nature of keeping on top of the basics is work that’s always underestimated. The work can be time consuming so help is always welcome and it really makes the time enjoyable and village itself cared for.
A special thanks also to Elaine, Tom, Ciaran, Catty and Pauline, missing from this photo, for all you do on a regular basis. If anyone has ideas or suggestions, please reach out to any of the committee members locally.
