Over €10k raised for Irish Cancer Society on Daffodil Day in Roscrea

Thanks to incredible support again from the people of Roscrea and surrounding areas an incredible amount was raised for Daffodil Day this year.

This year a total of €10,615 was raised for the Irish Cancer Society on Daffodil Day. As always the People of Roscrea and the surrounding areas gave so generously to this worthy cause.

The orgnaisers wish to extend a huge thank you to all their Volunteers sitting at the tables all day.

“Thank you so much to everyone who donated Fresh Daffodils for the day, if it was a bucket or a full Garden of Daffodils we are so thankful to all”, they said.

“A huge thanks to Roscrea Tidy Towns for allowing us to harvest Daffodils from around the town at different spots.
“Thanks to Valerie Lewis who knitted beautiful pin on daffodils for us to sell on the day”, the organisers said.

A huge Thanks also to : Bernies Super Value, Main Street, Dunnes Stores Roscrea, Roscrea Shopping Centre, Roscrea Post Office Roscrea Mart, Parkmore and Tesco Roscrea for allowing us to use the Community room for the day.

“Finally thank you to everyone that donated and helped us to raise so much.”
