Offaly Foroige members who enjoyed a day at Lough Boora Discovery Park.
OFFALY Foroige held its event for "Feb February" in Lough Boora Discovery Park.
The walk and talk is designed to get young people out in the fresh air where the can mix with members from other clubs in the county. Members were asked to think about instances of bullying that they might have experienced or seen and to maybe talk with their peers while out walking.
Members were given a route to walk and a list of "questions" on a sheet. While on the walk attention had to paid to the information plaques associated with the sculptures as all the answers were here.
They had members and leaders from most clubs in the county along with extended family (including many dogs) who were all very welcome. After their walk they headed back to Teach Lea for refreshments and a chat.
Offaly Foroige would like to thank every one for taking part and to every one who helped out in any way to make the day possible. Thanks to the custodians of Teach Lea for the use of their fabulous facility and to Joe Molloy for accommodating them.
