Early Offaly tallies show Barry Cowen performing well in Euro elections

Luke 'Ming' Flanagan and Ciaran Mullooly also featuring in tallies for Midlands North West constituency

Independent Luke 'Ming' Flanagan is also featuring strongly while former RTE Midlands correspondent, Ciaran Mullooly, of Independent Ireland, is also attracting votes.

Fine Gael's Nina Carberry is the most popular of the party's two candidates, judging by early tallies. She is attracting three times more first preferences than sitting MEP Maria Walsh.
