Offaly women graduate as pharmacy technicians

A group of Offaly women were among the recent graduates from the Edexcel Pharmacy Services Diploma (QCF) course with the Irish Pharmacy Union.

Amanda Kinahan, Aisling Donnelly, Agnieszka Nieporek and Pamela Handy all graduated with the diploma (QCF) at a graduation ceremony held in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin on April 30.

IPU President Daragh Connolly, presented the women with their certificates.

The comprehensive two-year course, which is delivered and administered by the Irish Pharmacy Union, prepares pharmacy technicians to assist pharmacists in ensuring the delivery of a high quality pharmacy service efficiently and safely to patients.
