12: Left half forward - Eoghan Cahill (Birr)
It ended up as a disappointing year for Birr as they didn't come out of the group but Eoghan Cahill once again impressed as one of the best forwards in Offaly. His scoring rate from frees and play is phenomenal, he has injected new pace into his game and is now close to the complete forward. He was sensational as Birr shocked St Rynagh's in their last group game, though it was too late to save their championship bacon. Coolderry's Eoghan Parlon was close to making the team. Parlon revelled in the latter stages of the year, was at his best when the hurling was at its most physical and he had a very good year.
