8: Midfield – Michael Brazil (Tullamore)
Michael Brazil had a great year for Tullamore. The vastly experienced player started out at centre half back but really prospered when he went to midfield from the Edenderry group game on as Tullamore began to click on a winning combination. He was superb in the drawn county final against Rhode when he kicked three sensational points while he cut out on the errors that he made there in the replay – as he gave another excellent display.
