12: Left half forward – Micheal Mooney (Durrow)
It was a dream year for Durrow and Micheal Mooney showed his calibre in their attack. Mooney has yet to fulfill the immense potential he showed as a minor but he showed how good of a footballer he can be as Durrow went to the semi-final. A sub in the first round win over Rhode, he got a point in the group draw with Ferbane and four points in a great display against Cappincur. He also got two quality points as Durrow were beaten but not disgraced by Rhode in the semi-final. Tullamore's Harry Plunkett and Durrow's Kevin McDermott were also strong contenders.
