The song, which the band admits was "written in Bee's shed," staved off stiff competition from the likes of The Academic, The Script, Niall Horan, Dermot Kennedy and Gavin James. They were announced as the winner at a glittering event in Dublin's Olympia Theatre.

The band have been hitting incredible heights since breaking onto the scene last year, going on to sign a record deal with Universal and have their latest single, Talk To Me, named as the official song of the FAI League of Ireland.

Both songs have received widespread airplay with Talk to Me even being played during Manchester United's recent game with Crystal Palace.

The lads said they were "honoured" to have even been nominated for an RTE Choice Music award and thanked their many fans for voting since January.
