Gardaí have arrested a man in Abbeyleix as part of an investigation into a break-in at vaping shop in the town during Storm Emma.
Members of the Laois-Offaly Garda Task Force have detained a man aged in his 50s in relation to a burglary last Friday, March 2.
The Vapourpal shop in Abbeyleix sells e-cigarettes and vape equipment. It was broken into around 6am on Friday morning.
An estimated €7,500 worth of stock was removed.
The shop only opened last December.
