Shane Lowry moves up in World Rankings after top ten finish at Arnold Plamer Invitational
Shane Lowry has moved up to 14th in the Official World Golf Rankings after a top ten finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Sunday.
The Offaly golfer lead the tournament after two rounds but fell off the pace on Saturday after a four over par round that included two double bogeys. A two under par round on Sunday ensured he finished seventh, four shots behind winner Russell Henley.
Shane Lowry is now inside the Top 10 on the FedEx Cup on the PGA Tour where he has moved up 18th to 10th.
He has also moved up to fourth in the European Ryder Cup Rankings with the top six in August automatically making the team.
He will be back in action this week at the iconic Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.
