Large quantity of drugs seized by Gardai in Offaly
A LARGE quantity of illegal drugs was recently seized by the Gardaí at a house in Cloghan recently.
A search of the premises was made by members of the Offaly Drugs Unit and the Birr Detective Unit
During the search they found a quantity of cocaine worth €4,500 and cannabis herb worth €2,500.
Two young men were arrested at the scene and one of them was charged to appear at a future sitting of the District Court.
