Tributes paid to "brilliant, popular worker,"  laid to rest after Offaly road crash

Many tributes have been paid to popular Clara man Jeremy Goode, who was laid to rest in his native town after a road accident earlier this week. 

A native of Railway View in Clara, Mr Goode died at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore earlier this week. 

The late Mr Goode previously worked in Goodbody's before working with Bus Éireann where he was a highly thought-of colleague. 

"Worked with Jeremy many years ago, a brilliant popular worker who did his work to perfection, while enjoying the craic. May Jeremy's gentle soul now Rest in Peace.," wrote John Eagney of Moate wrote on RIP.ie

Another said he was  "always so helpful and jolly a pure gentleman". 
"So sad to hear of Jeremy's sudden passing.... always a gentle person in school and in later life... sincere condolences to Kay and all the Goode and Browne family. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam," PJ Cunningham wrote. 
Another described him as a "gentleman and a great neighbour".
"Deepest condolences to the Goode family on Jeremy’s sad passing. I had the great pleasure of knowing and working with Jeremy. A gentleman and jolly man. Always up for a laugh. He will be truly missed by all. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again," wrote Keith Farrell of Tubberclair, Athlone.
"I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Jeremy’s wife, Daughter and all his family on his recent passing. I worked with Jeremy twenty plus years ago in Athlone. He was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to work with, so friendly and so helpful. May his gentle soul rest in peace, Amen," wrote Carina Egan, Shannonharbour.
"Sincere condolences to the Goode family on the sad passing of Jeremy. A true gentleman, may he rest in peace. He will be sadly missed in Athlone Bus Station. Always had time for a chat," wrote  Paul McDonald, Bus Eireann, Drogheda.
