Illegal modifications prompted gardaí to impound the car

Gardaí seize 'dangerously defective' vehicle after discovering over two years of unpaid tax

In a recent operation, gardaí intercepted a vehicle that had not paid its tax and had unauthorised modifications.

In a routine traffic stop, the Delvin Roads Policing Unit in Westmeath discovered the car to have been untaxed for a massive 841 days.

The driver of the seized car could face further consequences, with court to follow.
