In a recent operation, gardaí intercepted a vehicle that had not paid its tax and had unauthorised modifications.
In a routine traffic stop, the Delvin Roads Policing Unit in Westmeath discovered the car to have been untaxed for a massive 841 days.
The stop then escalated when gardaí found the vehicle to be "dangerously defective with a number of illegal modifications."
As a result, the policing unit promptly seized the car.
The driver of the seized car could face further consequences, with court to follow.
