Data from the motorstats have revealed the best selling cars in Offaly in 2023.  Topping the pile is the Hyundai Tucson with 4.89% market share. The Kia Sportage was the second best selling car in the county.

The Dacia Duster was the third best selling car in 2023 with Toyota taking the next three positions with the Yaris Cross, the Corolla and the Yaris.

The Nissan Qashqai was the seventh best selling car in the county followed by two more Toyotas, the CH-R and the RAV4. 

Rounding out the top ten were the Hyundai Kona with the Dacia Sandero which both sold the same amount in Offaly in 2023.

The data also shows the most popular colour of car sold in Offaly and it shows we are a slightly boring lot. 

Far and away the most popular colour car was was which accounted for more than a third of the cars sold in 2023. 

The second most popular colour was black followed by blue and then white. Red rounded out the top five with green well behind in sixth place.
