An Offaly lottery player was two numbers away from winning close to €40 million on Friday.
The lucky player matched five numbers in Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot draw winning €38,487.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased in Spar, Arden Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
There was no winner of the Jackpot worth €38,938,247, which means Tuesday’s Jackpot rolls to an estimated €50 million.
Elsewhere, another online winner matched 5 numbers and the bonus to take home a whopping €164,674.
The winning numbers in last night's EuroMillions draw were: 7, 31, 33, 35, 36 and the Lucky Stars were 7 and 10.
