Shane Lowry into top five going into final round at Scottish Open
After being barely inside the top 100 after this opening round at the Scottish Open, Shane Lowry finds himself inside the top five and just three shots off the lead with one round to go.
After a one over par 71 on Thursday, the Offaly golfer has shot rounds of 64 and 65 to shoot right up the leaderboard.
On Saturday he shot a five under par 65 to 12 places up the leaderboard into a tie for fifth on ten under par. His round included five birdies, two bogies and an eagle on the par five 10th.
He is three shots off the lead held by Rory McIlroy on 13 under with Tom Kim a shot off the lead on 12 under. Brian Harman and Tommy Fleetwood are in a tie for third on 11 under par.
Shane will be back on course at 8.35am tomorrow morning in the third last group alongside Scottie Scheffler and Byeong Hun An.
