WATCH: Shane Lowry takes a bow after holing monster putt during excellent round at Scottish Open
Shane Lowry shot up the leaderboard at the Genesis Scottish Open today with a stunning 64 that included an unbelieveable 73 foot putt for birdie on the par 3 12th.
Starting the round in a tie for 98th place after a one over par round on Thursday, Shane shot a whopping 82 places up the leaderboard today and is now in a tie for 17th place going into the weekend.
His round featured seven birdies and just one dropped shot with the highlight undoubtedly being this 73 foot putt for birdie on the 12th.

Shane goes into the weekend five shots off the lead which is held by Rory McIlroy on 10 under par.
Three players are one shot behind McIlroy on nine under with four players tied on seven under including Padraig Harrington.
