High powered car brought to a halt. PIC Laois Offaly gardai
The driver of a high powered Porsche was arrested in the Midlands after being caught at what gardai described as an 'unacceptable speed'
Gardai arrested the driver for speeding on the motorway in Laois.
Gardai stated that Laois Roads Policing Unit conducting Operation Lifesaver on the M7 detected the vehicle travelling at 185Kph.
Gardai said the car was stopped and the driver was arrested.
The driver is expected to appear in court in relation to the offence.
