WARNING: Multiple Amazon electrical products recalled due to safety risk
Several electrical products sold to Irish consumers on the Amazon platform have been identified as safety risks.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), certain products do not meet the requirements of the relevant safety standard, putting consumers at risk of electric shock.
The products include a charger, a garden light, LED lights, an AC adapter and port switches (details available below).
The batch numbers and barcodes for the above products are unknown.
If you purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately and discard the products.
You may wish to contact Amazon - which can be done via your user account - to see if there are any remedies available to you.
