Trio of fund-raising events launched for new arts centre in Tullamore

Tullamore Lions Club this week launched a trio of fund raising events for Esker Arts Centre, Tullamore, including a gala concert and monster raffle and an art auction, to be conducted on line.

The gala concert, in the new Esker Arts Centre, on Friday, April 14, will feature the Dublin Welsh Male Choir, appearing in the town for the first time, the award winning Academy of Music and Tullamore Stage School Ladies Choir, under the direction of Regina McCarthy, in what promises to be a unique and historical occasion for the town and its environs.

The renowned Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir sing in four part harmony, in the great tradition of Welsh male voice choirs.

Tickets for the concert are priced at €50 each and will and include a Champagne & Canapé   reception   and are available online at “tullamorelionsclub.com”   going on sale on line, this week.

The monster fund fundraising raffle, has a first price of €1,000 and numerous other prizes including   weekends away, colour TV; golf and meal vouchers. 

Tickets are now available from Lions Club members and through selected outlets. The draw will take place on the night of the concert.

The morning of Friday, April14 will kick off with the on-line Art Auction, being supported by Midlands 103 and featuring work generously donated by a number of well-known local artists.

The organisers are still accepting pieces of art from artists. Anybody wishing to donate one of their pieces for the auction should contact  tullamorelionsclub.com  in the next two weeks.
