The car was seized on the roadside
A car was seized by Gardaí in Portumna for several offences.
Gardaí in Portumna, Co. Galway, while on mobile patrol in the town observed the pictured vehicle driving erratically.
The driver was found to be on a learner permit and driving unaccompanied. Gardaí conducted an intoxicant test and the motorist tested positive for cocaine.
The driver was arrested and the vehicle seized on the roadside.
Gardaí are reminding motorists to never drive while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
