Roads policing Gardaí active in Roscrea seized a car and arrested a driver for suspected drug driving on Monday (Jan 09).
Gardaí reported the motorist tried to evade them, but was was stopped and arrested after failing a Drugwipe test for suspected cannabis use. The vehicle had no valid insurance, motor tax, or roadworthiness certificate.
Gardaí are reminding motorists to never sit behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
