Eleven Offaly general election candidates as nominations close

Voting takes place on November 29 to choose three TDs

Offaly voters will go to the polls on Friday, November 29 to elect three TDs

THE deadline for nominations for the general election closed at 12 noon on Saturday and 11 candidates have entered the race to fill the three Dail seats in the Offaly constituency.

Fianna Fail has two candidates while Fine Gael, the Green Party, Sinn Fein, Independent Ireland, People Before Profit - Solidarity and Aontu have one each.

There are three non-party (independent) candidates.
