St. Cillians begin their Leinster League senior Division 1 campaign this weekend away to Ballyboden St. Endas having being promoted from Division 2 last year.

The blue and white stripes will be building on last year's Leinster League success having defeated Kilkenny's Danefort on a scoreline of 3-6 to 0-5.

St. Cillians will also be aided by the addition of Aisling Brennan who will be eligible to play this year as she is not with the county set up.

St. Cillians will also face Lucan Sarsfields (Dublin) and Oulart-The Ballagh (Wexford) in their tough group. Lucan Sarsfields, Oulart the Ballagh and Ballyboden were all knocked out of championship in their senior club championship semi-finals last year.

Also back for another year is Kilcormac/Killoughey who reached the semi-final of the Division 4 competition last year.

The double K's will face Tullogher away in Kilkenny also on Saturday February 17 before then taking on Castletown-Geoghegan (Westmeath). Tullogher compete at junior grade in Kilkenny while Castletown-Geoghan failed to reach the knock out stages of their championship.
