Na Fianna GAA Club
Na Fianna Football Members Registration Day will take place on Saturday the 17th of February from 12.30pm to
3.30pm in the Clubhouse in Geashill. All new and existing members are requested to come along on the day and
register for the year.

of Daingean and formally Ballinagar who passed away last weekend. RIP.

Ballycumber GAA Club
The fourth Table Quiz of the season was a great success in Stewarts on Friday night. Many thanks to Claire and Conor Connelly who supplied and asked the questions. Thanks also to Jimmy Stewart and staff for their hospitality and to all who supported the quiz. All participants are entered in the GAA National Club Draw 2018.

GAA National Club Draw 2018 tickets are on sale from Committee members and from players. There are wonderful prizes on offer including a Renault Dynamique, All Ireland Final packages including match tickets and overnight accommodation in The Croke Park Hotel with dinner for two and numerous Shopping Vouchers. The closing date for buying tickets is fast approaching.
The Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held in the Clubroom on Friday next the 19th January at 8pm. All members are requested to attend. New members are especially welcome and all offers of help will be gratefully accepted.

Friday 19th October is the date for the Club’s Dinner Dance in the Bridge House. The members of the 1968 Senior Football Championship winning team will be Guests of Honour.
Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of former Chairman of Ballinagar GAA Club and well known referee Eddie Dunne.
Ballycumber GAA History Group are collecting information on the many men from this area who fought in World War 1. The Group would appreciate any information that would help them produce a fitting memorial.
The lotto numbers drawn this week were 7,12,13.31. No jackpot winner, one match three winner. Next week’s draw will be held in Flynn’s of Grogan on Monday night for a jackpot of 5600 euros.

Rhode GAA Transformation week 2 of 6 has officially Kicked of on Monday 15th of January in Rhode GAA Hall with events kicking off with a cooking Demo and talk on healthy eating and staying on track th followed by registration of participant's .. Also available to participants is the weigh-ins /blood pressure check by registered nurses which will be carried out weekly to track their loss if they so wish.
There is something for everyone young and old with workshops, talks and demos taking place every week of the six weeks with Diabetes Ireland carrying out screening.

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 8th of January for a Jackpot of €15,000. The numbers drawn were 5 7 11 24. The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to O'Toole's for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation. The following matched three numbers and received €25.
The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online through our website. The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example, pay for seven draws, receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on. In other words, the more you play the more free draws you are entitled to.

Juvenile indoor hurling will commence again on Thursday the 25th January for another 6 week programme in Port GAA hall, from 7pm to 8pm, this is for U11 yrs down, cost €3 per child...beginners are welcome, hurls and helmets provided.
We are running a 6 week Skills Development Course for football players that are turning 12, 13 and 14 yrs old in 2018. Started Mon Jan 15th in the Port Community Centre from 7pm to 8pm. Cost is €3 per player... new players are welcome.
U17 Football Training has now started and takes place on Mon and Fri evenings from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, new and returning players very welcome.
There was no winner of this weeks draw held on Mon Jan 15.
