THERE are two big games in the Tullamore Court Hotel Senior “B” Football Championship this Sunday.
With three rounds played, Cappincur are top with five points from three games, Clara have four from two, Tubber three from threec, Ballinagar and Daingean two from two, Gracefield two from three and Ballycumber none from three.
The meeting of Gracefield and Clara is on Friday, August 29 and the pairings this Sunday, August 24 are:
Ballinagar v Ballycumber in Ballinagar 2pm
Ballycumber have struggled in this championship so far while Ballinagar have found it hard to adapt to the higher grade, drawing two games they should have won. They can still make the semi-finals but absolutely have to win this to do so. You can't fully trust Ballinagar to perform but they should be able to get the win they need.
Verdict – Ballinagar.

Cappincur v Daingean in Cappincur 4pm
A mouth watering local derby that will tell a lot about both clubs. Cappincur have went very well while Daingean got going with a win over Gracefield on Sunday. Both sides have key players injured and this result could be determined by the availability of their star players: Bill Carroll hasn't played for Cappincur to date and Shane Tierney only came on as a sub for Daingean in their come from behind win against Gracefield.
No result would surprise in the slightest here and Daingean's need is marginally higher.
Verdict – Cappincur.
