Incredible reaction as Offaly coffee day raises €5,500 for cancer charities
An Offaly couple have thanked locals for their support after their annual coffee day raised an incredible sum for two charities.
PJ and Brid Lynam thanked everyone for their "amazing generosity" and continued support for their coffee day held recently in Ballyfore.
There was a huge turnout, and incredibly, over €5,500 was raised for Offaly Hospice and Irish Cancer Society.
"As always, we greatly appreciate your kindness, good spirits, the great prizes and all the kind neighbours and friends who ensured that all ran smoothly. We hope to see you all again next year," PJ and Brid said.
