People are being urged to dispose of their Christmas trees properly
A service for the disposal of Christmas trees in Roscrea opens to the public tomorrow.
Sadly it is now time to start taking down the decorations and embark on a new year and the county council has a free disposal service for anyone who had a real Christmas tree at home over the next 12 days.
Five civic amenity sites in Tipperary are offering the service. Nenagh and Roscrea and Templemore Town Park and the Town Park in Thurles are some of the locations the trees can be disposed of free of charge.
