Fastway Couriers Midlands shortlisted for award

FASTWAY Couriers Midlands, located at Botley Lane in Portarlington, have been shortlisted for the Franchisee of the Year (Service) award at the 2011 Irish Franchise Association Awards while Fastway Couriers Ireland, the national franchisor, has been shortlisted for the Franchise of the Year (Service) award. The national business won the Franchise of the Year (Service) award in 2010.

These awards recognise excellence in franchising and reward outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals in the franchise industry. Fastway Couriers Midlands has doubled the number of franchisees in the region in 2010 as well as opening a new depot in Mullingar to provide a higher level of service to clients.

Several franchise businesses from all over Ireland entered these awards with 15 companies being shortlisted for six awards.

The Awards ceremony is the highlight of the Irish Franchise Association EXPO on February 25 and February 26 in Croke Park. The expo is an opportunity for Irish franchisors to showcase the excellent opportunities for prospective franchisees.
