Catfish and the Bottlemen have announced they will play in Ireland this summer, for the first time in five years.

The band added a new live date to what’s becoming an epic summer of performances for the multi Platinum-selling, BRIT Award-winning, arena-filling giants. Returning to Ireland for the first time in five years, they will play Dublin’s RDS Simmonscourt on Saturday, August 31.

The show is a welcome reunion with one of the band’s most vociferous fanbases, and excitement is set to be at an all-time high for their first visit since 2019.

Tickets go on general sale at 10:00 BST this Friday, May 10 here. You can also sign up for presale tickets here

The announcement of the Dublin concert follows the news of Catfish and the Bottlemen selling out their biggest ever show, at Liverpool’s 32,000 capacity Sefton Park, just a week after going on sale. The Liverpool show comes ahead of three huge open air shows in Cardiff and Edinburgh, announced last month, both of which went on to sell out in minutes, as well as their epic return to the Reading & Leeds Festival mainstage, which they headline for the second time.

With the anthemic, stadium-ready new single Showtime, and an epic live summer ahead of him, Van McCann is back where he’s meant to be: headlining festivals, finishing a brand-new album, and beginning a dynamic, exciting new era for Catfish and the Bottlemen.
