MARK your calendars for a very special cup of tea!
The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is hosting the 30th Alzheimer’s Tea Day across Ireland this May and The Alzheimer’s Day Centre in Birr, Co Offaly will join the celebrations with Tea Day on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 2pm at the centre with the public welcome to attend to support the event. The 30th anniversary is a significant milestone as statistics show that at least 30 people in Ireland are diagnosed with dementia, every single day.
Claire Dolan, Birr Day Centre Manager, commented, “2024 marks the 30th anniversary of Tea Day and we are delighted to host Tea Day in Birr Day Centre to help support our services users, their families and carers.”
