Rahan Comhaltas members with Santa at the concert
Recently Rahan Comhaltas held their annual Christmas concert for the friends and family of Comhaltas members.
The concert took place in Killina Presentation Secondary School and there was a brilliant turnout of family and friends to support the musicians.
Each class group performed with their teacher a tune or dance they had been learning for the past number of weeks.
This was a great opportunity for upcoming musicians to play as a group in front of a live audience and to show off the hard work they have been putting into practice in class and at home.
All family, friends and teachers were very proud of the students for playing music so well.
It was great to see people of all ages enjoying playing music together. It was a fantastic night to end the classes for the Christmas holidays.
Rahan Comhaltas are having a table quiz in the Thatch, Rahan on this Saturday, December 30.
The quiz will begin at 8.30pm. A table for four will be €40 and raffle tickets will be sold on the night. The quiz will be in aid of the Unicef Gaza crisis appeal.
