Now with the long evenings are here we can look forward to some fantastic walks.
Our walk last week was very well attended and was the very popular Silver River Loop at Cadamstown. A damp night was not enough to stop the group from having a very enjoyable nights walking. Well done to everyone who made the effort.
Our walk this Thursday night the 20th July is the Scohoboy Loop outside Cloughjordan. Distance : 7 km, Grade: Easy , Time: 2 hours. Meeting at The Scohoboy Trailhead at 7pm. A walk not to be missed.
Our next Greenway walk will be the Seventh section of The Grand Canal Way on Sunday the 23rd July from Tullamore to Pollagh Village a distance of 18km. details to follow.
Last weekend some of our club members had a fantastic weekend away in Mayo, climbing Diamond Hill outside Letterfrack on Saturday and a climb of Meelrea on Sunday.
