The launch of Coláiste Phobal's Fun Run in Premier Credit Union
Roscrea's Coláiste Phobal Parents Association officially launched their Annual Fundraiser Fun Run, taking place on Sunday, 1st March 2026 at 10am, in association with the event’s main sponsor, Premier Credit Union.
The launch took place at Premier Credit Union in Roscrea and was attended by Mr Niall Behan, Vice Principal of Coláiste Phobal Roscrea, along with Head Boy Darragh Phelan and Head Girl Shannon Guilfoyle.
They were joined by Parents Association members Damien Carroll and Clare Dooley, as well as Brian King, CEO of Premier Credit Union, and Pat McCabe, Board Member.
Speaking at the launch, Brian King said Premier Credit Union was delighted to come on board for a second year as main sponsor of the fundraiser.
He highlighted that the ethos of Premier Credit Union is centred on people helping people, and noted that this event strongly reflects that ethos by directly supporting the students of Roscrea.

Damien Carroll thanked Premier Credit Union for their continued and invaluable support, as well as the many local businesses who sponsor the event each year. He explained that upon registration, participants will receive a Coláiste Phobal running vest, featuring the sponsors’ names.
Damien also outlined the Perpetual Trophies that will be awarded on the day, including: Best Male; Best Female; Best Parent and Best Child.

Start Time of the Fun Run is March 1st at 10am with registration starting at 9am.
