Host of events in two libraries in Offaly this August

Edenderry and Daingean libraries have a range of free events on schedule

A HOST of free events will take place in libraries in Edenderry and Daingean over the coming weeks.

For Heritage Week – "Unstitching the Shinrone Gown" – will be on display in Edenderry library until August 298.

Edenderry library

Tuesday 26th August

10:00-16:00 – DIY Craft Table

11:00 – Kids Movie Morning

Wednesday 27th August

All Day Lego Challenge

17:30 – Kids Movie Night

18:00 – Adult Bookclub (New Members Welcome)

18:30 – En Vogue: Fashionable Irish Women from the 15th-17th Century – Heritage Week Talk by Fashion Historian Laura Fitzachary. No booking Required

19:00 – Ciorcal Comhrá – conversational Irish group for Adults (new members welcome)

Thursday 28th August

11:00 – Back to School Storytime & Craft for under 6s – Booking Required

All Day – Sensory Room Available for Bookings

Friday 29th August

10.30 – Baby & Toddler Group – all welcome

3.30pm – Crafty Friday for over 6s – Booking Required

Saturday 30th August

10:30 – 12:30 – Summer Stars Party – Medal Presentation, Prizes and Activities. Entertainment by Street Theatre Ireland

10-12 – STEM Saturdays & Magic Table Sessions

11:00 – Saturday Storytime
