Former players attend memorable Tubber GAA reunion

Tubber GAA enjoyed a fantastic night at the Oranmore Lodge Hotel as players, families, and club members came together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1986 Offaly Junior Football Championship-winning team, along with the Intermediate and Senior B football teams of 1988 and 1989, who also brought championship success to the club. With over 130 people in attendance, the evening was filled with great memories, laughter, stories, music, and reminiscing of those memorable early glory days.

A sincere thank you to Megan and Teresa O’Hara for providing wonderful music throughout the night, and to our photographer, David McGowan, who captured some fantastic images of the celebrations. Thanks also to Barry McLoughlin for serving as MC, and to Camillus Hiney and David Sheridan for the excellent traditional music performance in the bar beforehand.

A special word of thanks goes to the organising committee of James Farrell, Joe Nestor, Paddy Sheridan, and Martin Heavin, whose hard work and dedication made this memorable occasion possible. It was truly a night that will live long in the memory of everyone who attended.
