The UK has already been hit with freezing temperatures and snow as the Beast from the East makes its way towards Ireland.
These were the conditions in Kent in England on Tuesday morning, February 27.
The heaviest snow in Ireland is likely to fall on Thursday night when easterly gales will result in blizzard conditions but there are a series of weather warnings in place for Tuesday night.
