Muireann Foy in action against Munster
A TALENTED Croghan woman has been named as the vice captain of the Leinster U18 ladies rugby team.
Muireann Foy is the daughter of Sarah and Anthony Foy. Anthony Foy was a long serving St Brigid’s footballer and Muireann is following in his footsteps.
She also plays ladies football with Rhode and plays her rugby with Mullingar RFC. She has made great progress in rugby in the past couple of years, coming through a very competitive Leinster trials process to make the squad.
