Kara Stelling sponsored by Midland Books I am 22 years old. Whilst originally from Geashill village I now live in the beautiful town of Tullamore. I am currently a student at Maynooth University studying English, History and Ancient Classics with the hopes of becoming a secondary school teacher in the future. When I’m not in college I work in Midland Books, a job I adore getting to be surrounded by books every day. In my spare time I love solo travelling, meeting new people from all over the world and learning about their cultures. I have been to various cities all over Europe ticking each one off my bucket list as I go

Maeve McIntyre sponsored by W.R Shaw I am 22 years old. I just finished my degree in English Literature and French in Trinity College Dublin. It’s strange to have finished four years of study. I really enjoyed my time in Trinity and I’m so glad to have met so many amazing people. I spent a semester in Nice and volunteered with the amazing Trinity VDP. I live in Mount Lucas on a farm with my family. I love being surrounded by animals and getting to spend so much time with my family! I hope to continue my education in January by starting my Green Cert. I’m really looking forward to spending the selection day with the other girls!

Ava Moloney sponsored by Liffey Mills I am 21 years old. I come from Shinrone, a small tight-knit village where everyone knows each other. I have one sister and live with my mam and dad. I play camogie for my local club, camogie has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I absolutely love it. It keeps me fit and connected with my community. I also have a great passion for farming, and I milk cows in the evening after work, farming for me has become a labour of love and I wouldn’t be without it. They always say where there’s muck there’s luck. When I’m not on the pitch or tending to the farm, I work at Liffey mills, and I help out at the local pub. Both jobs allow me to stay rooted in my community, which is something I truly value. Liffey mills is one of those places that’s been part of Shinrone for years, and it feels good to be part of something that’s built a legacy. The pub, on the other hand, is where you can find a bit of craic, a warm welcome, and where stories are shared over a pint of Guinness. We also have a sing song where I would join in and sing a song. The pub is as much a part of village life as anything else, and I am proud to play my part there. Life may be busy, but it's also full of things that matter most
