U16s Tullamore 0 - 0 Boyne
Tullamore u16s played Boyne in their opening match of the Leinster Intermediate League in the Harriers. Tullamore were the quicker of the two to settle and penetrated the Boyne circle on a number occasions but were unable to find the opening goal. Boyne were always quick on the counterattack keeping Tullamore backs on their toes. The second half was played at a ferocious pace and both goalkeepers had to pull off some great saves. The final whistle blew as Tullamore were once again on the attack. But in the end the spoils were shared with a 0-0 result. A great start for this Tullamore team in this higher Leinster league.
