Offaly teacher visits European parliament as part of school programme

Offaly teacher Andrea Condron met MEP for the county Mairead McGuinness last week as part of a schools programme.

Andrea, who teaches at Oaklands Community College in Edenderry was pictured with Mairead McGuinness who is also serving as the first Vice-President of the European Parliament.

The meeting happened during a training day on Thursday last, March 21, for teachers taking part in the European Parliament's Ambassador School Programme.

The Programme raises awareness about the work of the European parliament and European citizenship values.
